Summary: Police responded to reports of an aggravated assault involving a firearm in the vicinity of Circle K and 12th Avenue in Tucson, Arizona. The incident began as a mutual combat situation between two males, escalating when one suspect, described as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s wearing a plaid shirt and tan pants, pistol-whipped the victim and fired at least one round into the air before fleeing the scene. Officers canvassed the area, including the alley behind Walgreens and a condemned house, and confirmed the presence of shell casings. The victim and witnesses were largely uncooperative, complicating efforts to obtain a full suspect description. The incident location was later updated to Title Bucks (3771 S 12th Ave), with additional activity at 502 W Ajo Way near Spirit Halloween. Officers checked for video surveillance at Circle K and continued to investigate. Ultimately, the risk to public safety was mitigated as the suspect fled and no further shots were reported.
