Counterfeit Bill Passed at ARCO, Suspects Flee Scene

Summary: A Hispanic male, approximately 19 years old, paid with a counterfeit $100 bill at the ARCO gas station located at the southwest corner of Mesa Drive and Southern Avenue in Mesa, Arizona. The suspect left the scene before police arrival. Later, staff at 365 E. Southern (ARCO) reported two Hispanic male subjects being verbally confrontational. The staff identified one of the subjects as the same individual who previously used the counterfeit bill. The suspects were last seen leaving in a white pickup truck and were no longer present when police arrived.
