Physical Altercation at Smoke Shop on East Southern Avenue

Summary: Mesa Police responded to a physical altercation at 835 East Southern Avenue, reportedly at a smoke shop. A Hispanic male in his mid-20s, described as shirtless with tan pants and black hair, was overheard threatening a female over the phone and later became physically involved with her. The female, described as Hispanic, late 20s to early 30s, wearing a black shirt and black shorts, was believed to be bleeding from the mouth. The male was also reported to have attacked another male. Both the male and female were associated with a black Kia Forte sedan. Police coordinated their response, requested additional units, and eventually detained at least one individual in custody.
