Welfare Check for Suicidal Male Suspect Tracked by Phone

Summary: A caller reported that her husband took their car and sent text messages indicating he intended to harm himself. Law enforcement attempted to locate the husband using his phone number, which was traced through Verizon. Officers coordinated to respond to the area near County Line Road, east of Graham, and considered using continuous phone pings to track his location. A welfare check was conducted, with officers checking locations near Morton by Highway Lane and Highway Lanes Park. The phone was eventually located with a radius of 246 meters.
