Suspected Overdose at 801 North Windover Road

Summary: Charlotte and Mecklenburg County Fire units responded to a suspected overdose at 801 North Windover Road, near the 7-Eleven at the intersection of Marvin and Bill Street. Engine 14 was dispatched as an ECHO-level medical emergency for a possible chain overdose. Upon arrival, responders administered one dose of Narcan. Subsequent communication indicated that the patient was no longer in need of additional medication, and it was clarified that the involved parties were not yet on scene.
