Shooting and Disturbance at Soapbox Derby Field on Curtis Street

Summary: A report was received of multiple gunshots and a fight involving several subjects near the soapbox derby field on Curtis Street, Chautauqua County, New York. Multiple calls indicated possible gunfire and a large commotion. Responding units found a black male with a superficial wound consistent with a gunshot to the left side of the head. The incident occurred near the intersection of Curtis Street and Frank Avenue, close to Patrick Park and the soapbox derby field. Emergency services responded, and the scene was secured. The majority of witnesses refuted that anyone was shot, but one victim was located and treated. The situation was brought under control, and no further injuries were reported.
