Unfounded Motor Vehicle Accident Alert on Croy Road

Summary: Emergency services responded to an automated crash notification reporting a possible motor vehicle accident at 10819 Croy (Corey) Road, between Hopper and Waterman, in Chautauqua County, New York. Multiple fire and EMS units, including ALS, were dispatched and responded. A helicopter was also called in and landed at a nearby school. After an extensive search and attempts to contact the reporting party, it was determined that the alert originated from an iPhone's automated crash detection and no accident was found. The call was declared unfounded and all units were cleared.
