Residential Structure Fire on South Hillsworth Road

Summary: Mesa, Gilbert, and Queen Creek Fire Departments responded to a reported structure fire at 22240 South Hillsworth Road in Maricopa County, Arizona. Multiple engines and ladder companies arrived on scene to find a medium-sized, single-story residential building with light to heavy smoke showing from multiple sides. Fire crews initiated an offensive attack, performed search and rescue, established water supply, and conducted roof ventilation. The fire was primarily located on the northwest and Charlie-Delta sides of the structure. Crews encountered heavy fire conditions but were able to achieve an all-clear and lift, with no flames showing after ventilation.
